I was so excited when Mandy contacted me to take pictures of her and Rilee! She wanted it to be fun for Rilee so we met up at Trinity Park. I had so much fun!! Thanks Mandy for letting me share this time with you and Rilee ! I hope we have many more photo shoots to come!

Mikey is such an awesome dad! His daughter came to visit for a few weeks, so we snagged a few pictures while he had his kids in Abilene. We had a great time… well, maybe humorous is a better word  

I was a little worried about the weather. Stacy told me that in Cypress, TX it always thunders and clouds up. And it’s common for rain showers most days. The last night of my stay with Stacy we weren’t too sure we could pull off a photo shoot, but thankfully the clouds parted and the lighting was perfect! Most of all Baby Roan was in a wonderful mood and was ready to clap Clapping = big smiles! I have never had such an easy photo shoot with a 10 month old! Aren’t they such a cute family? Miss you guys!

Rochelle and I go way back… like back in the days of poofy bangs and monstrous bows! We were best buddies and spent many nights at each other’s house! We share so many memories together. When we graduated high school, we went our separate ways, Rochelle to A&M and myself to Sam Houston State. Eight years later I received an email from Rochelle saying her and her mom would be in Texas and wanted family pictures! I was so delighted. Rochelle and I exchanged many emails catching up on lost time. It’s a shame it took family pictures to join us back together! These 3 ladies are very special to me

We absolutely FROZE taking these pics. Poor Becca was wearing flip flops — snow and flip flops don’t mix! I brought my mom along, actually she asked come along and “help” (but I know she just wanted to catch up with Tammy). I think we all spent too much time talking, and less time taking pics… but we had lots of fun! Sorry Becca for keeping you in the cold so long! But you look stunning in all your pics .

Introducing the Cassle Family…

Aimee decided to rally her brother and sister together for some family pictures. This was another Christmas surprise … something their mom has been wanting to do for a while. Andrew, Allison, and Aimee have personality — that’s for sure — and they know how to have a good time! Here are some of my favorites

I had so much fun with this family! Jason and Tashli are wonderful parents! I have to admit it was freezing cold, but their little girl is the cutest thing ever! Little Karahli had the shivers during her photo shoot and it was adorable!  Thanks for choosing me to take your pics — I hope you find some you love!

I’m about to introduce you to some people I really love. And yes, she DOES think her husband’s tractor is sexy.

I always wanted a brother or sister, but since my vote didn’t count, I was left as an only child. Every only child who is reading this will agree with me that it gets old hanging out with your parents friends . So like any normal child I wanted to play with someone my age, so my cousin Nikki was my playmate. Nikki and I are only 9 months apart, so she is like my sister (and I think I am like hers as well). We had lots of fun growing up together, especially dressing up her brother Trent and making him do silly things because he was too young to know any better.

Nikki asked me to come out to their house and take pics of her and Royce-y, as she affectionately calls her husband. Royce is a roper — I really don’t know what that means but I hear he’s pretty darn good at it! I knew when she asked me to take pics, it mean pics of her animals as well. And I’m sure you are all learning I am not too good with animals, actually I’m most afraid of horses. This is pretty embarrassing to my family considering my mom, Ronda Monson, was a champion barrel racer! Royce has 2 horses he wanted pictures of, so it was quite the sight! Nikki breeds Great Danes so I took pictures of her 2 Great Danes… well tried taking pics until I stepped in a HUGE pile of dog poop! And I can’t forget Noah, Nikki’s Chi-hu-hua (I don’t know if i spelled that right). He’s the prince of the house. I decided to bring my mom along for the day and she was quite the comic relief chasing the dogs out of the picture and declaring as she waved her arms towards the sky, “WIND……. stop!” That one was for you, Nikki .

Aren’t the gorgeous people?

If you know the Duran family, you learn to never take them seriously. This freezing Thanksgiving morning MINI session was full of giggles, sarcasm, and jokes on ME. This family knows how to have fun, but since I’m extremely gullible, I thought they were being serious every time they were joking with me. They got me so flustered, I’m glad I got the pics I did .

Chris and Rebekah have such an adorable son, Collin. He loves to play with any kind of ball and ride in cars. I had so much fun following this little guy around, or should I say chasing?! Special thanks to Amy Farina for squeezing smiles out of Collin and being super silly! Oh and Rebekah brought a HUGE lollipop for Collin and he loved it! It was so heavy it made him topple over many times, resulting in a shattered lollipop… haha. He was content licking it off his face, though! Chris & Rebekah, you have such a beautiful family . I’m so honored I got to take Collin’s first pictures! Yeah
