Yesterday was a big day for me and for my whole family!! Nikki is like my sister, she always has been. For quite some time Nikki and her husband were trying to conceive. It broke my heart to see the discouragement on Nikki’s face month after month when the pregnancy test told her she wasn’t going to have a baby. But it amazes me how God demonstrates His love to us in such personal ways. Nikki lost all hope and knew it would be a miracle if she ever conceived. God in His faithfulness — despite all odds and human effort — gave her and Royce a baby. Look what the Lord has done. Miracles do still happen today. I love you Nikki . You are so special to me, you always have been. Preslee is P-R-E-C-I-O-U-S!!

All I can say is wow. Kristine and McKenna are beautiful inside and out. This was my first mother daughter photo shoot and I think I’ve found my new love . I feel so honored to have met you both. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I met Heather when I first moved to Abilene! Heather works for Spine Abilene and one afternoon I sat in her office chit-chatting while we waited on the doctors for their photo shoot. It was so great meeting her, I think we talked about everything under the sun . I remember her telling me about her son Blake, and I thought to myself, “I would have so much fun photographing this family!” Over a year later, here we are!

Thanks for being such a fun family . Blake, you’re a mess — in a good way. Good luck with baseball. Hope y’all enjoy your sneek peak!!

Halloween weekend was quite eventful!! After a wedding at the Stonegate Mansion, my in-laws picked me up in their tie-dyed hippie clothes — coming straight from a Halloween party. It was HILARIOUS! We all made plans to go to Game 4 of the World Series! David loves the Rangers, so getting this opportunity was such a blessing. I’m not too fond of baseball, but I couldn’t turn down the experience!

Sunday I dressed Malia in her Halloween costume — none other than Tinkerbell! I jump at the opportunity to take photos of this little doll, so outside we went! Gigi (my mother-in-law) brought her camera along, but Miss Malia quickly told her to put her camera up! I feel honored to be Tinkerbell’s personal photographer. Here are a few of my favorites. Chris, doesn’t Malia look adorable?

Later that afternoon David met us in Arlington to head to the World Series! We were so excited!! Here are a few photos from the evening.
